About this nominee:

(Kevin says:)Derek is one of the best sales leaders I have ever worked with. He is always willing to help, knows the tech business, and knows how to close a deal. Heck, I’d even vote for him for president of the United States.

(Anthony says:) Derek Grant was my direct manager at Pardot, where I was the first BDR. I came into the B2B SaaS space with no knowledge of its infrastructure, sales style, sales cycle, or processes. Derek took me under his wing, worked with me, and taught me how to run solution sales, work, and ultimately succeed in SaaS sales. Fast forward 5 years later, I am now the Director of Sales at SalesLoft, the fastest growing company in Atlanta, managing a team of 10+ account executives, and teaching them how to sell. I recently won the TAG OneInAMillenial Award for Sales Leadership (first of its kind). I owe much of my success to Derek Grant. So much so, that we brought him over to SalesLoft to be the VP of Sales here. I am always excited to continue to learn and grow under his leadership, even as a sales leader myself.

  1. I have recently started working at SalesLoft and the training and mentorship that I have received from Derek has been unparalleled. He goes out of his way to make himself available and encourages everyone around him. I’d second that nomination for President as well!
